I am sooooo excited! And, I must say, I feel so extremely privileged to share with you that Dr Fred Kahn replied to my email asking if he would consider taking on Hana’s case (read about why I contacted him here). He has responded saying that cold laser therapy MAY significantly help Hana – but of course, there are no guarantees. As we know from Norman Doidge’s recent book (see below) and as Dr Kahn highlights, he has had great success in alleviating many symptoms of traumatic brain injury in some patients – whether or not this technique will help with Hana’s Hypothalamic Obesity, Absent Pituitary function and other symptoms of TBI (headaches, mood swings, memory loss, temperature dysregulation, sleep disturbance) is another matter entirely. As he has said: “We remain optimistic.” I second that. Oh boy do I second that.
When do we fly?
We are leaving in two weeks and will stay in Toronto for three weeks and get Hana around 20 treatments and return mid-december. She will also get her ankles and knees treated as cold laser treatment has excellent results on chronic wounds/injuries/inflammation that conventional modalities can’t relieve. BRING IT ON!
For more info on the legendary Fred Kahn and his amazing career and the latest in brain healing/neuroplasticity I really recommend Norman Doidge’s latest book ‘The Brain’s way of Healing’ and also Kahn’s website: www.bioflexlaser.com
More coming soon on ‘light’ therapy and how amazing it is (did you know that in Russia they have given ‘light’ via an IV – helping some overcome life threatening infections??). I will also outline how, on a cellular level I hope cold laser will help Hana. As usual, thanks for stopping by – don’t forget to pop over to my Facebook page if you want to connect on a daily basis, I would like that. xx
